COVID-19 Protocol


Due to the risk of COVID-19, we ask that any participant who has a FEVER, COUGH, DIFFICULTY BREATHING, or RECENTLY TRAVELED outside of Canada, to stay at home and NOT attend your lesson, class or rental reservation. Please call to reschedule. We have put preventative measures in place according to guidelines. Online reservations & payments, smaller group sizes, social distancing considerations & sanitation of equipment are methods we are have put in place.We recommend you bring your own lifevest (PFD) or plan to wear a T-shirt if you have concerns. Please feel free to come however you feel comfortable & let us all respect the comfort of others.




What is your cancellation policy?


Due to smaller class sizes we ask that you cancel your board reservation within 12hrs of the class starting. This will allow us time to offer your spot to someone who may be on the waitlist. Unfortunately, you will forfeit your class if you cancel outside of the 12hr time period. We alway try to avoid this, so let us know anytime you cannot make a class.




What is your inclimate weather policy?


Summer weather changes down by the lake & you don't need a sunny day to SUP. The only thing that prevents us from getting on the water is thunderstorms. We will notify you 90 minutes before class if we are rescheduling & you have the option to get a full refund. Be sure to leave phone number & email when you make your reservation. No show reservations are non-refundable.




What to wear?


Dress comfortably! Athletic clothing , bathing suit whatever you like. Try to avoid heavy clothing that could restrict your ability to paddle OR get out of the water once wet. The Lake is between 78 - 82 degrees . We recommend a t-shirt under the lifevest this year as a barrier, but it's up to you. Bring a change of clothes just in case.

The following locations are being considered for 2021: LakeCourt Marine, Grimsby Fifty Point Conservation Area, Hamilton Beach Blvd, Hamilton Bayfront Park, Hamilton




What's included?


ALL the equipment & a lifevest (PFD) are included for classes & lessons.Our instructors are certified & insured. Parking is free, however limited, so carpool if you can :)




How does a board rental work?


A board rental includes a paddleboard, paddle, leash, PFD, pump, & carry bag for the period of time you have rented from us. Your package includes local delivery of the board at the start of your rental and pickup at the end of your rental. We will contact you to arrange the details. Typically, rentals run from 9am from the start of the rental to 5pm of the end of the rental. Please let us know if you need another another time for delivery/pickup, we are flexible with these hours. Please note, there is an additional fee for board inflation. Your package includes a manual pump that you may use to inflate your rental board. We offer a board inflation service at the time of rental delivery if desired. To book our board inflation service, please book our add on inflation fee separately after you have booked your board rental and indicate your dates of rental.
